Officers were called to Springfield Township High School Thursday morning on reports of a school shooting threat, local police said in a release.

An "adult male" student made indirect threats about organizing a school shooting Wednesday and used another student's computer to search "how to kill a teacher," police learned.

The suspect was arrested and is awaiting arraignment on a terroristic threat charge, according to police.

The student's identity was being withheld by police.

Police say there is no imminent threat to any schools in Springfield Township (Montgomery County) as of Thursday afternoon.

The school district is expected to release a statement to parents via email.

This was the second school threat in Springfield Township on Thursday, police said. The other involves a shared property at Wordsworth Academy that is being investigated by Upper Dublin police.

The status of that investigation is unknown as of Thursday afternoon.
